Dučrme, bču bambin (Sleep, beautiful little kid) (Sleep, pretty small child) Traditional cradlesong from County of Nice, collected by J.C. Ranucci and A. Tosan.
This traditional lullaby refers to typical features of Christmas carols: the ox and the donkey warming up the small child, the offering of gifts and the poverty of the worshipper, and the future and accepted Christ’s suffering Soufrissčs perque voulčs (You suffer because you want).
