1. Carras and la Gabella (the Salt Tax) are the two old parts of the town of Nice which delimit the Baie des Anges. First one on the West side, second one on the East side reminds us of the existence of a salt depot in the Middle Ages.
2. The St. Peter Day.
3. The fishermen from Nice dreaded the dolphins, because they damaged the fishing nets; they needed to mend them patiently.
4. La Trappa (The Breach): a well known inn, formerly located at the bottom of Malonat Street.
5. La Chappa: the old fish market, behind the Cours Saleya.
6. Women from Nice used to wear a golden chain, as the typical jewel from the city. See also Rouseta la pastressa.
