1st verse
Pèr vèire la Jacènt,
Fau quita nòstei mountagno;
Pèr vèire la Jacènt,
Fau qu’anen en Betelèn.
Parten touteis ensèn,
Anen tous de coumpagno,
En Betelèn, en Betelèn,
Pèr vèire la Jacènt.
 To see the New Mother,
We have to leave our mountains;
To see the New Mother,
We have to go to Bethlehem.
Let’s set off all together,
Let’s go hand in hand,
To Bethlehem, to Bethlehem,
To see the New Mother.

2nd verse
Fau tout abandouna,
Lei móutoun, agnèu e fedo;
Fau tout abandouna,
Aro que Jèsus èi na.
Sounjen de camina,
Tenen la cambo redo;
Jèsus èi na! Jèsus èi na!
Fau tout abandouna.
 We have to all abandon,
Sheep, lambs and ewes;
We have to all abandon,
Now Jesus is born.
Let’s think about to walk,
Let’s hold the leg stiff;
Jesus is born! Jesus is born!
We have to all abandon.

3rd verse
Pièisque tu sies malaut,
N’es pas resoun que tu sortes;
Pièisque tu sies malaut,
Demoro dins toun oustau
E laisso toun barrau
E tout ce que tu portes
Dins toun oustau, dins toun oustau,
Pièisque tu sies malaut.
 As you are ill,
It’s not reasonable you walk out;
As you are ill,
Stay at home
And leave your barrel
And all you carry
In your house, in your house,
As you are ill.

4th verse
Sèns te bouja d’eici,
Nautre faren toun message;
Sens te bouja d’eici,
T’adurren toun gramaci;
Te pourtaren aussi
Quauque poulit image,
Toun gramaci, toun gramaci,
Sens te bouja d’eici.
 Without leaving here,
We will pass on your message;
Without leaving here,
We will take your thanks;
We will take too
Some nice picture,
Your thanks, your thanks,
Without leaving here.
