About furniture and frames,
O, well! He knows more than fifty,
You well hear me!

Un brès, un taulier, un coffre fuort,
Lou vou douna à la prova,
Oben ! Lou parié noun si trova,

 To make a coffin,
A crib, a table, a safe,
I give him for test,
O, well! Another one like him it isn’t find,
You well hear me!

4th verse
Se va en gleïa fa d’aùtas,
Aco noun l’embarrassa pas,

If he goes to church to make altars,
This doesn’t embarrass him,
He knows as well the sculpture
O, well! That is against the nature,
You well hear me!

N’emplega bouca, gorgea e nas.
Dirias que lu sieù nota

He uses the mouth, the throat and the nose.

O, well! Are coming from a cellar,
You well hear me!

The jacket he leaves,
O, well! He goes to wear frock coat,
You well hear me!

To give him a ticking-off
O, well! In an efficient way,
You well hear me!

Haven’t taken him away from their hands,
They were hitting (2) in time
O, well! On the dark frock coat,
You well hear me!
