These tunes – often of a recent creation – where composed and are played for a particular occasion.
The conscription is one of these occasions. After the examination in front of the recruiting board, the conscripts celebrate this rite of passage at the adulthood while dancing in the streets of the village brandi who look like scottish or polka.
