The guilds and the brotherhoods are represented in the traditional songs, particularly by means of patronal fairs. A Christmas carol taken from the Presèpi nissart is dedicated to them.
Other traditional work songs allude to jobs, tools, work places... but these activities are just scene or pretext to different topics. This applies to shepherdesses and other animal keepresses, who are invited in traditional songs not for their outdoor activities, but for their –presumed– charms and the cravings they arouse!
